Pre-Kindergarten Program

It is a full day schedule for children aged 3 to 4 years old. The child’s interest in learning to adapt more of his environment is what makes the whole learning process fun. They are exposed to different activities which prepare them to a more challenging program. The Montessori materials designed for this level emphasizes on the individual growth of the child. Their abilities to understand more of individual and group play make them more confident in dealing with their own social, emotional and cognitive state.

Cut-off date for Pre-Kindergarten students is August 31 of the applicable school year. Meaning the child must be 3 years old on or before the cut-off date.

Rabbits class (Toddlers and Pre-K mixed class)

Ms. Sandi AGUSTIN

Ms. Sandi is a licensed and experienced teacher from the Philippines. She finished her University diploma with major in "Special Education" also known as SPED. Ms. Sandi has been a teacher in our school since September 2010. Her being a professional teacher has helped her students achieved our curriculum goals. She always finds way to leave a lasting very good impression to the children and the parents.

Ms. Rita YU

Rita started her Sunrise teaching career with us last School Year. A young educator who is passionate of her field and being a part the young learner's developmental progress. She is also an experienced teacher who enjoys working with kindergarten students of different culture.

Ms. Rose GU

She is the assistant of Bumblebees class. She has worked in different local and international kindergarten schools in and around Shanghai and has the Assistant Training Certificate for Kindergarten.

Tigers class (Pre-K class)

Ms. Chan VINH

Ms. Chan is a qualified and experienced teacher from the UK. She took her Masters and Bachelor of Arts in London. She has also earned teaching certificates for Speech and Drama. Ms. Chan has been teaching Pre-school and kindergarten-aged students since 2014 when she first arrived in Shanghai.

Ms. Shirley FAN

Ms. Shirley is now on her fourth year of teaching in Sunrise. During those years she has manage to explore more of her teaching styles and methodology as she was assigned to different levels. Her friendly, good-nature and child-like personality has made her not only a teacher but also a friend to her students.

Ms. Mila GUAN

Ms. Mila is one of the loyal staff of our school. She has been working for Sunrise for 6 - 7 years now. Ms. Mila has passed her Assistant Training Certificate as part of her qualification. She loves being with the kids and has always been nice and sweet to them.
